A big thank-you to all the fine ladies who made it down to the Round She Goes Vintage Fair yesterday. It was honestly the biggest market that Muscrats Vintage has ever participated in! I was utterly blown away by the very positive response from all of our lovely clients. We were showcasing our newest stock of gorgeous vintage winter dresses. Hello Sailor Vintage Fair at The Grace Darling!

What's better than one Hello Sailor in the month of November...that's right TWO!

Yes Hello Sailor Vintage Fair will now be run bi-monthly, at two different venues!

The Grace Darling is the newest venue to jump on board. If you haven't been there since it's new refurbishment you are missing out. This little charmer dates back to1854. The downstairs bar and dining room has undergone a major renovation and is now fitted out with authentic rustic wooden furniture. The walls are lined with charismatic wallpaper reminiscent of the days of old. The theme throughout has a sea shanty come old time glamour feel. Meals are served for lunch and dinner and all your favorite tap beers and ciders are served over the bar.

The Grace will be splendid backdrop to what is shaping up to be the grandest of GRAND openings!

As usual there will be lots of vintage clothing and accessories for guys and girls. A tip for those on a budget and looking for that unique present for chrissy: Get down to the grace for a splendid aray of trinkets and collectables.

You might just find that expo '88 mug that you've always wanted.

Have you seen 'The September Issue'? Trust me, if you adore fashion you will absolutely love this film.

It follows editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in preparations for the 2008 Fall issue of Vogue Magazine.

The portrayal of Wintour is often harsh and as planned she comes across as someone to be feared and revered.

Working alongside Anna is talented Creative Director Grace Coddington (left). Coddington shares with the audience intimate details about her life. From modelling on the London fashion scene in the 60's, through to finally ending up at US Vogue.

Coddington's attention to detail and creative flair is evident in every shoot that she styles. As inspiring as Anna Wintour may be, I found myself intrigued and fascinated by Coddington's unique approach to styling. Coddington pushes the boundaries, often taking the unconventional approach. It is the fashion industry after all, where would we be without people like her?

That is why we are hosting The Sundae Workers Mini Vintage Fair in the Sideshow Bar at The Workers this Sunday.

Lots of new stock and highly sought after vintage pieces from around the country and overseas. If you are after quality vintage you will not be disappointed. The Ladies involved are some of Melbourne's best Vintage sellers and Jewellers, so come on down and shop till your heart's content!

This fair is run in conjunction with the Sundae Workers Series #2. This is a magical music and Visual Journey spanning over 5 Weeks.

Apples In Stereo's Rob Schneider + The Parking Lot Experiments + The Smallgoods

Robert Schneider is the creative force behind US indie band The Apples in stereo, a noted producer, children's music creator, amateur mathematician and co-founder of the Elephant 6 music collective. The Apples are one of the mainstayers of the US underground and Robert has a reputation as the US Indie Phil Spectre. To their credit The Apples founded the cult-late 90s psychedelic Elephant 6 collective/label, and in the UK they won an astonishing third place in the fans' vote to determine the line up for All Tomorrow's Parties 2007. The Apples In Stereo were also the first signing to Elijah Wood's (aka Frodo) label, Simian. Robert Schneider is in Australia via invitation to speak on the Panel at Big Sounds. This will be his ONLY Melbourne show.

Robert Schneider will be supported by the rich and woody western rides, lolloping bass lines and ghostly harmonies of The Smallgoods. The Parking Lot Experiments will make a welcome return to the stage. With the safe arrival home of their well-travelled fourth member, they will reunite to shower the audience with their own special brand of Pop magic.
